This blog has een very quiet recently, I know. I've been somewhat distracted by the fact that we redesigned the magazine, and just produced the first issue with the new design, using a new programme- we've junked Quark and shifted to inDesign - and we have a new website coming on stream any day now...
Its all going to be really very good.
The new mag is beautiful, and features some great stuff- AC Graling getting very cross with John Gray, Laurie's interview with Richard Curtis (monety qote: "Cynics Red Nose Day hasn't raised any money yet"), Sally Feldman's farewell to smoking, and a great Newton Emerson piece on Northern Ireland where, he says, there are signs of an emergent secularism.
If you want to see a copy go here to request a trial issue. And look out for the all new website, and come to our free event at the RSA with Jonathan Miller, Laurie Taylor, artin Rowson and Natalie Haynes...
